May Race

Randy Dunn's report:
It blew 5.0 to 6.0 all morning. But when we put the race buoy out about lunch
time, the wind died.
The first two heat were planing on 9.0 sails. By the end of the second heat we
were getting overpowered, so we switched to 5.5 to 6.5 sails and ran two more
heats.
The last two heats were incredible - very fast, getting very overpowered. Lot of
spectacular wipeouts. It was the most fun I've ever had racing. In a practice
run I hit the fastest speed I've ever recorded with my GPS - 31.1 mph.
We have a new series leader in the women's division - Michelle Moorman.
